13 September 2026 — Separate indicators and regional coverage
The Analytics description now includes generic participation clicks. Prior consent is requested again. Saved action IDs and form contents are excluded from custom events; counts are not verified impact.
The former overall score has been retired from the dashboard and current methodology. Homicide and suicide gauges now use their precise indicator names. Gauges require a known year within five calendar years and, for country groups, at least 80% coverage. These are editorial rules, not scientific thresholds. The World child-labour estimate for ages 5–17 is protected from replacement by the separate children-in-employment series for ages 7–14. Supporting articles distinguish the retired formula from the current method. Observation values have not been refreshed by this editorial correction.
13 September 2026 — score eligibility and factual corrections
Corrected the V-Dem comparison period to 2015–2025 in two articles. The score and pressure gauges now exclude unknown or future reference years and observations more than five calendar years old; for ranges the oldest year is checked. This is a new explicit editorial freshness rule. The global child-labour estimate for ages 5–17 remains contextual and is excluded from the score based on the children-in-employment series for ages 7–14. Raw observations are retained. Old data caches are invalidated. Removed the unsupported claim that advertising consent configuration had already been verified.
13 September 2026 — practical examples and clearer interpretation
Added clearly labelled illustrative exercises to the seven action themes, interpretation specific to each country or regional profile, and arithmetic examples to the five indicator guides. Historical observations retain their source years. These edits do not constitute a new verification of every underlying dataset. Removed fixed article reading-time labels and advertising code from directory, participation, service-request and editorial administration pages.
