About / independent observatory

Measure pressure. Protect dignity.

Humanity Alert makes complex social and environmental indicators easier to read without pretending that one number can define a society.

Why Humanity Alert exists

Important public datasets are often fragmented across institutions, units and reference years. Humanity Alert turns selected indicators into a readable starting point while keeping the original sources one click away.

Four social-pressure dimensions form the experimental composite signal. Consumption-based CO₂ per person is displayed alongside them as separate environmental context, with a score weight of 0%.

Independent by design

Paid reports, institutional dashboards, advertising and voluntary support may finance the work. None of them can buy a score, remove a limitation or influence a source-based conclusion.

Editorial principles

  • Human dignity before traffic.
  • Primary sources before commentary.
  • Reference years beside every value.
  • Missing data disclosed, never disguised.
  • Physical environmental measures kept distinct from the social score.
  • No moral ranking of peoples, cultures or religions.
  • Corrections made visibly when evidence changes.
