How to read the evidence
The five source series can refer to different years. Humanity Alert keeps those dates visible and treats missing or stale observations as limitations, never as zero. The normalized pressure signal is a navigation aid rather than an official ranking.
A national indicator describes a reported population-level pattern. It does not measure the dignity, character or worth of a people.
Country-level limitation
National figures can obscure variation between states, territories, remote areas and population groups. They cannot substitute for community-specific evidence, including evidence concerning Indigenous peoples.
